Boiled Water Advisories

When a boiled water advisory is in effect, bottled water should be used for drinking or cooking, or tap water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least two minutes (and then allowed to cool) before consumption/use in cooking.  Please click the New York State Department of Health link below for questions and answers regarding boiling your water:

Boil Water Advisories are currently in effect in the following areas in Orange County:  

  • Orchard Hill Estates in the Town of Monroe
  • Painted Apron Village in the Town of Deerpark
  • Scott Acres in the Town of New Windsor
