Orange County Historian

About Us

The County Historian’s office was established by the Board of Supervisors on December 14, 1961, when Harry H. Smith was appointed as the first person to serve in this capacity. Miss Bush is the sixth Orange County Historian.

She is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, and is thereby associated with the National Museum of Scotland.
