Youth Leadership & Service Council

	The Orange County YLSC is made up of local youth who receive training to enhance their leadership, teambuilding an decision making skills.
	Members develop ways to give back to their local communities.
	Youth develop the goals and focus of the group.
	Our hope is that all Orange County youth will be successful in achieving their goals and building a positive future.

O.C.Y.L.S.C.'s Mission:

	Increase mutual respect and understanding between youth and adults
	Provide a unified "youth voice" in local and county communities
	Increase self-empowerment by developing skills to positively respond to life's pressures

Members are Orange County youth, ages 13-18

	Youth-led evening meetings
	Special activities & events
	Elected YLSC Board leads group and reviews applications for YLSC membership
	ALL members help to decide the Council's goals
	Builds valuable leadership and team building skills
