Welcome to the District Attorney’s Video Camera Community Partnership Program

The District Attorney’s Office is pleased to announce the implementation of the “Video Camera Community Partnership” program.


Do you currently utilize video surveillance at your home or business?

If you do, we would like your help.


Video Surveillance is one of the best methods for apprehending criminals and convicting suspects who are caught in the act of committing a crime.  Sharing video surveillance systems with law enforcement is a great example of Community-Law Enforcement partnerships.


Video Cameras are one of the best methods for detecting and apprehending criminals.  Police regularly ask businesses and individuals to share camera footage that might aid crime-solving efforts.


We encourage businesses and residents to register their camera’s using this portal so that together, we can make Orange County a safer place.


Individuals wishing to participate in the program must fill out the Security Camera Registration and System Information Form  in order to be added to our security camera system database.


You can click on the link above to fill out the interactive form and have it submitted directly to our Office.  Or you can also print the form, fill it out, and then mail it back to the address shown on the form.  Additionally, you can also fill out the form, scan it, and email it to:  dainvestigators@orangecountygov.com.  


This information shall only be used for official investigations
