About the Council

The Advisory Council assists the Office for the Aging in fulfilling its mission. It provides the office with guidance advice and support in strategic planning, program development, financial resource expansion and advocacy. The council serves as a critical link between the Office for the Aging and the local elderly community.

The Council’s most important obligation is to help the Office for the Aging carry out the intent and objectives of the Older American’s Act.
