Home Delivered Meal Service
Nutritious noontime meals are distributed to elderly residents in many locations in Orange County, with nutrition education and counseling with a registered dietician provided as needed. Arrangements may be made for weekend service and limited diet modifications. A pre-screening process is required to determine one’s eligibility for the service. Final approval is dependent upon an in-home assessment.

Volunteering
The Orange County Office for the Aging Senior Dining Program delivers a frozen noon-time meal to home bound seniors residing in Orange County. This supportive service allows seniors to remain in the home environment and be independent. The meal delivery is a community effort. Volunteers are needed to deliver meals in your community between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and noon, Monday through Friday.
Volunteers may help as little as a half-hour a month and still make a difference in the life of seniors residing within their own community. In order to maintain the delivery of meals additional volunteers are needed. Without the support of volunteers, seniors’ nutritional needs cannot be met.
Your support of our services contributes to the enhancement of the quality of life for the seniors in your community. Those who are interested in volunteering may call 845-615-3703 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
