Students will learn about the many lifesaving skills and techniques such as CPR and treatment of traumatic injuries in preparation for a wide variety of careers in the emergency response and health care sectors. The one-year program provides a foundation in efficient and immediate care to critically ill and injured patients and transportation to the medical facility. Students who successfully complete this program are eligible to take the New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) examination.
