Recovery Program

About the Program

The Community Development Block Grant – Recovery (CDBG-R) is a program approved by Congress under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). In May, 2009, the U.S. Department of Housing and Development (HUD) notified Orange County that the County would receive an allocation of $466,115 in CDBG-R funding.

The purpose of the CDBG-R Program is to create or retain jobs in Orange County. Three Municipalities were awarded a total of $419,504 for infrastructure projects. The remaining $46,611 is allocated to program administration.
