Registration for Events

The next Household Hazardous Waste Event for Schools, Farms, Municipalities and Businesses will be held Friday September 21, 2018 at the Orange County Fire Training Center located at 9 Training Center Lane, New Hampton, NY 10958.

Please fill out both pages of this registration form (PDF). Please be specific about the quantity of items you have on your registration form. You can only bring 220 pounds of material to a Household Hazardous Waste Event.

Acceptable Materials

Acceptable materials include:

  • Adhesives
  • Aerosol Cans
  • Automotive Products/Gas/Oil and mixtures of gas/oil
  • Corrosives/Cleaners
  • Dental amalgam
  • Fluorescent light tubes (in feet)
  • Joint Compound (not water based)
  • Mercury
  • Oil based paint (NO LATEX PAINT)
  • Pesticides/Herbicides
  • Photographic chemicals
  • Pool chemicals
  • Solvents/Thinners
  • Varnishes/Shellacs/Stains
