The Economic Development Office’s responsibilities include developing policies, procedures and programs which enhance economic growth and activities in Orange County. Director Bill Fioravanti was hired in June of 2018 to lead the Office. Fioravanti most recently served as the Orange County Partnership’s Director of Business Attraction and brings a wealth of experience and diverse background to the position.
Under the guidance of County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus, the Economic Development Office implements programs to retain, restore and expand the commercial and industrial tax base, while facilitating their expansion. It also directs and monitors program activities, including business attraction, entrepreneurial development, film and video location, tourism and international trade promotion, and project financing.
The County continues to work with existing economic development agencies to capitalize on and further develop Orange County’s economic development position.
