Goshen, N.Y. – Deputy County Clerk Kelly Eskew has announced the establishment of a new program that offers local business discounts to Orange County’s first responders, including police, volunteer and full-time firefighters and EMS personnel.

The Orange S.A.V.E.S. (Salutes All Volunteer Emergency Services) Lives program will recognize the heroic efforts of these volunteers and will raise awareness of the need for recruitment and retention. The program will offer individuals who qualify retail discounts throughout the County.

“This is another way of saying thank you to these brave men and women, and bringing attention to our volunteer services,” Eskew said. “Our first responders are part of the backbone of our communities and we thank them for their bravery and dedication.”

Merchants and first responders interested in participating in Orange S.A.V.E.S can contact the County Clerk’s Office at 845-291-2690 or ccinfo@orangecountygov.com.
