District Attorney Hoovler, Jewish Federation, and School Representatives to Announce Hate Crime Awareness Initiative
Event Set for 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018
Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler, on Thursday, September 27, 2018, will announce the beginning of the District Attorney’s Hate Crime Awareness Initiative, an effort to educate the public and public officials about hate crimes, and to educate police about how to investigate hate crimes. District Attorney Hoovler will be joined by representatives from area school districts and by representatives from the Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County.
The initiative was prompted by investigations in the last few years into hate crimes alleged to have been committed in this area.
