[ARCHIVED] Orange County Executive Neuhaus statement on Veterans Day

Goshen, N.Y. – In commemoration of Veterans Day on Sunday, November 11th, Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus released the following statement:

“Our veterans have made great sacrifices to ensure we have the freedoms that we enjoy in this country,” Neuhaus said. “These brave men and women have put their lives on the line at home and overseas and placed our Country, our safety and our freedom before themselves and their families. A top priority of my administration is to continue to provide these men and women, and their families, with the support and services they deserve. Orange County salutes our more than 23,000 veterans with our deepest gratitude and respect.”

The County’s Veterans Service Agency (VSA) office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. VSA Director Christian Farrell can be reached at 291-2470 or via email at cfarrell@orangecountygov.com.
