[ARCHIVED] Orange Parks Department to host Summer Activities Program for children

Goshen, N.Y. - The Orange County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is pleased to announce that it will host a new Kids Summer Activities Program at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Hamptonburgh in July and Algonquin Park in the Town of Newburgh in August.

Activities will include playing games, making crafts, fishing, hiking, visiting with animals and learning about gardening and local history. The program will run in two-week sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until noon. Sessions at Thomas Bull Memorial Park will begin July 9th and July 22nd for children 6 to 10years old and at Algonquin Park on August 6th and August 20th for children 8 to 12 years old.

The cost will be $120 per session, per child for Orange County residents ($220 per session for non-county). Space is limited to 20 children per session and registration is required by May 20th.
