[ARCHIVED] Stony Ford Golf Course celebrates 50th year with $50 special on May 14th

Goshen, N.Y. – Stony Ford Golf Course in Hamptonburgh is celebrating its 50th birthday this month and the County’s Parks Department is offering a $50 special on Tuesday, May 14th to mark the occasion.

A standard 18-hole round with a cart on May 14th is $44. For only $6 more, the 50th anniversary special includes a buffet lunch and commemorative golf ball and towel. All rounds booked on May 14th are eligible for the 50th anniversary special, so reservations are highly recommended.

“Happy birthday to Stony Ford,” Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus said. “Our golf courses are an integral part of our park system and this is a great way to celebrate this milestone and highlight Stony Ford.”

Stony Ford offers an array of services including golf lessons and clinics, private and group lessons, golf outings evening golf leagues for men, women and juniors, and banquets and daily lunch specials at the course’s restaurant. The 18-hole public course features a driving range, a putting green, restaurant and a fully stocked golf pro shop. Golf club rentals are available as well.
