[ARCHIVED] Stony Ford Golf Course to host second annual Wine and Nine event on August 18th

Goshen, N.Y. – The second annual Stony Ford Wine and Nine Golf Open will be held on Sunday, August 18th at Stony Ford Golf Course in Montgomery.

The event begins at 3 p.m. with a shotgun start. Two local wineries will be on-site to offer wine tasting stations on the course during the nine-hole tournament.

Tournament format is team scramble and first, second and third place teams will receive prizes from the Pro Shop.  There will also be a closest-to-the-pin and longest drive contests.  After the golf event, there will be a reception in the Clubhouse with Hors d'oeuvres and door prizes. The entry fee is $50 per person, which includes green fee, golf cart, and a bottle of wine.

Registration is limited to the first 100 golfers. Participants are reminded to drink responsibly, both on the course and at the reception.
