[ARCHIVED] Healthy Orange Farmers Market in Newburgh hosts Kids Day on September 3rd

Goshen, N.Y. – The Healthy Orange Farmers Market in Newburgh will host a Kids Day at the Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3rd.

The event celebrates Back to School and helps prepare students, parents, teachers and schools for the upcoming year. There will be a kids’ tent providing educational information and fun activities such as music, bubble blowing and a variety of games. The County’s Planning Department will be at the event offering tips and information regarding bicycle safety. In addition, Cornell Cooperative of Orange County will perform a healthy food demonstration. 

As always, local farmers and vendors will be at the market selling fruits, fresh vegetables, local honey, soaps, and hand-sewn items. The Healthy Orange Farmers Market, located at the corner of Lander Street and Broadway, accepts FMNP coupons, WIC FMNP Coupons and FreshConnect coupons.
