PREREQUISTE: CORE 3 PRINICPLES OF SHAPING BEHAVIOR & OTHER STRATEGIES FOR EFFECTIVE TEACHING

Defining behavior, functions, when to intervene, replacement behaviors, antecedent and consequence strategies; the functional behavior assessment process and the role of direct support professionals; common data collection methods, etc.
 
Originally scheduled for 10/17 (2:45-4:45), training Core 4-Principles of Shaping Behavior: Understanding, Preventing and Replacing Problem Behavior will instead be delivered virtually via Zoom from 6:30-7:30 pm on the evenings of October 21st AND October 28th. Attendees should register for BOTH sessions in order for receive training credit. 
 
This will allow follow up on the content of the four hour Core 3 training that remains scheduled to take place virtually on 10/17 from 10:00-2:30.
