Mental Health Association Honors
Volunteers and Community Service Award Recipients and Announces Annual Meeting

Mental Health Association in Orange County, Inc. (MHA) will hold its Annual Meeting and will honor staff and the community with a Recognition Ceremony on Thursday, May 13 at 4:00 pm. Due to COVID-19, this event will be held virtually this year.  MHA’s Annual meeting will precede the Community Service/ Volunteer Recognition Ceremony.

MHA’s Executive Director, Angela Jo Henze, spoke of all the volunteers and community service award recipients being honored.  “MHA Board of Directors, staff and program participants are very grateful to all the award recipients.  MHA’s mission continues to
be fulfilled on a daily basis thanks to their priceless contribution to the individuals we serve.  Their selfless and caring volunteerism and community service are vital to our success.” 

MHA is a private, not-for-profit organization seeking to promote the mental health and emotional wellbeing of Orange County residents. Under the leadership of a volunteer
Board of Directors, MHA's staff members, consultants and volunteers provide free mental health and safety net services to thousands of Orange County residents each year.  In
addition, MHA staffs and volunteers answer calls, provide companionship, public education, direct services and assist with fundraisers.
